Our Story
My name is Dylan Gabbart, and the inspiration for the Hillman Memory Assistant began with my own family.
As my great grandmother began living with dementia, I watched my grandmother work tirelessly to care for her every day. While she did everything she could to keep her safe and comfortable, it was often overwhelming and stressful.
Seeing how difficult caregiving could become made me realize that many families face the same challenges. Caregivers are constantly trying to balance safety, independence, and peace of mind for someone they love.
The Hillman Memory Assistant is named in honor of my great grandmother, whose experience helped inspire this idea.
